The perspective gives an impression of size and distance; good that there are some more organic shapes in with the purely geometrical ones, that creates interest. The frame is distracting.

The muted colors do give a feeling of faded memory.

Somehow I'm reminded of the scene in Forbidden Planet, when they're inside the Krell planetary machine; the massive scale and mysterious works.

get rid of the black/white bars around it-they eat out whatever is on inside and take all the attention-they are too big, too pure and too much of a contrast, people wont be able to fully appreciate your work as long as its inside them - just my thoughts.

Also your work is wonderful-its gentle, detailed and has wonderful tones, it can't be put together with pure white and black, at least not in this manner.
